“Can I help?” Those were just the words I needed to hear this morning. Have you ever had one of those days where it seemed like everything that could go wrong, had. Well, that was the predicament I found myself in this morning. I was already emotionally drowning and the day hadn’t even reached my 9:00 o’clock coffee break. As I sat at my desk feeling paralyzed by the fear of what the next phone call or guest might request I remembered my morning prayer. How quickly I had forgotten the words I had recently spoken.
On occasion recently, during my time reading the bible and listening to Christian music I have taken note of how simple words when put in the right order can impact our thoughts and desires. I sometimes think God intentionally gave us these short simple three word sentences to allow us to better understand His messages for our lives.
So in the spirit of this story, I want to share with you a few three word groupings that I prepared in the hope that you will reflect on the grace, love and forgiveness that your Lord and Savior provides for you daily:
My Heavenly Father; Prince of Peace
I surrender all; I want you; You are holy
Don’t let go; It’s my life; You give life; You give hope
Hold me Jesus; Lift me up; Run to me; Through the storm
Grace by Grace; God loves me; Weak made strong
Call my name; Just say Jesus;
To the cross; At your feet; To know you
You are Lord; Lord of all.
My Thought for Your Day
“The greatest moment of your life is now. Not because it’s pleasant or happy or easy, but because this moment is the only moment you’ve got. Every past moment is irretrievably gone. It’s never coming back. If you live there, you lose your life, and the future is always out there somewhere. This moment is God’s irreplaceable gift to you”. John Ortberg
