God has blessed our community with a Blood Center where they are working very hard to keep blood supplies available for us. Blood cannot be manufactured, it must be donated by people like you, and they need your help to constantly replensih the supply. Watch for information regarding our Blood Drive coming March 23, 2009 in Fellowship Hall.
Each donation can save three lives by providing someone plasma, red cells or platelets. Plasma is used for trauma and burn patients, organ transplant recipents and many newborns. Red Cells are
used for patients undergoing surgery or trauma, patients with chronic
blood disorders such as anemia or sickle cell anemia. Platelets are used for patients who have developed bleeding disorders caused by leukemia, cancer therapy or open heart surgery. Save lives, give blood.
