| Matthew Mentors (a new, financial education ministry) |
A financial care ministry has been formed because we believe that stewardship of financial resources lies at the heart of Christian discipleship. Jesus talks a lot about money and possessions, and much of life revolves around this, so we as God's people must take the necessary time to gain the wisdom and management skills to plan, give, save, and spend it wisely. We do want to hear God say "Well done, good and faithful servant...!" Matt. 25:21. “Becoming Money Wise…” building financial strength from wisdom, humility, and contentment! Our Matthew Mentor’s (church-commissioned servants, gifted with financial expertise) have assisted over 70 households thus far, with gained financial wisdom, and offering new found hope - for those in need. The course “Becoming Money-Wise, a Scripturally-Based Practical Study on Money” is offered again for 6 weeks, in room 173 at the Janesville Campus, on Wednesdays, starting on the June 13th., for 6 weeks, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in room 173 at the Janesville Campus, offering financial guidance and hope. The $5.00 course fee includes your book. Class space is limited.
