Care Ministry Educational Event Registration
There are times in life when obstacles are thrown in our path. During these times, it's important to lean in to our faith in God and reach out to others for help, support and prayer to get us through. HCL's Care Ministries offers many community groups and resources, including a new series of free educational events that will address everything from mindfulness and gratitude to depression, suicide prevention and more, and offer practical tips for dealing with the challenges life may throw your way.

Learn about how to focus on one thing at a time and be present in the moment in order to help live life to the fullest.
"Managing Frustrations with Information Overload"
Thursday, September 27 from 6:30-8:00pm
Guest speaker and Clinical Psychologist Dr. Gary Gregg, Psy.D. will provide practical tips for managing frustration in life.
"Coping Skills for Everyday Life: Distraction/Improve the Moment"
Thursday, October 25 from 6:30-8:00pm
Learn different things that you can do when you can not solve the situation but need to just get through it.
"Coping Skills for Everyday Life: Positivity/Gratitude/Joy"
Thursday, November 29 from 6:30-8:00pm
Discover ways to stay positive, find gratitude and joy even when there is negativity around you.

Learn how to identify negative thinking and change it to positive.
