Estate Planning: So Much More Than Just Money
It's not easy to think about our mortality, especially when we are young. Many of us are guilty of putting any sort of estate planning off to a future time.
But the truth is, we don't know when the Lord will call us Home and, while this may be difficult to think about, it's probably harder to imagine what would happen if the unthinkable occurred and you didn't have a plan. Would my family know my wishes? Who would take the kids? What would happen to the family cabin? After family is taken care of, would I have anything left to give to causes that meant something to me?
When your time comes to go Home, it is an invaluable gift to your family to have a thoughtful plan in place that leaves no stone left unturned. At the most basic level, having a plan in place ensures that your family knows your wishes and that you can help avoid causing any undue stress.
Free Consultations to Help You Maximize What the Lord Has Given to You

- Avoid paying unnecessary taxes
Meetings with with Gift Planning Services will culminate with a work book containing discussion points, family information and even flow charts of what your estate looks like today along with a few other scenarios to give your family an idea of what's possible depending on your preferences.
What to Expect
Your first meeting with Gift Planning Services will typically last between 60-90 minutes and will be an opportunity for them to get a "snapshot" of your estate. Jennifer will provide you with a list of questions and documents in advance that will be helpful to have for this first meeting.
She may ask questions you do not have answers for, that's ok. This may be the first time you have discussed some of the possibilities that may come up, that's ok too. Following the first meeting, Jennifer will review all of the information you provided and schedule a follow-up meeting.
At this subsequent meeting, you will be presented with your work book containing information, possibilities and reference material - all custom tailored to you and your family. And all completely free!
