Introduction

Light Tower Cheerleading promotes character and self esteem in every girl by focusing and rewarding their positive actions, positive words, and positive actions. Light Tower Cheerleading is not your typical cheerleading program. Light Tower Cheerleading does not have tryouts, all girls are welcome to be apart of this program. Light Tower Cheerleading will teach positive cheers and chants that encourage others.

Today’s’ culture has taught us that when your child does something wrong they should be harshly criticized and reprimanded. However, Light Tower Cheerleading will focus on the positive results we see and reward each cheerleader for their good spirit and positive leadership – emphasizing FUN while making new friends. 

Light Tower Cheerleaders will practice once a week for an hour, and cheer for a one hour game on Saturdays. Practices days will be Tuesday or Thursday night. Practices will be held at one of the Hales Corners Lutheran Campuses. Light Tower Cheerleading will be cheering for the Martin Luther Youth Football program on South 76th Street for 3rd – 6th Grade football teams. Cheer Teams will consist of no more than 10 girls per cheer team. The Light Tower Cheerleading program includes a modest uniform (Cheer Top and Skort), pom-poms, megaphone and several other items in their starter kits. Light Tower Cheerleading will provide a FUN and EXCITING environment for girls to learn the basics of cheerleading and provide an opportunity to meet and make some new friends. 

We have 32 girls signed up for our 1st season. We have 2 teams of girls in our 1st - 3rd Grade Division, and 2 teams in our 4th - 6th Grade Division.

Sign Up Information

Sign ups for our 2008 season have concluded. Check with this website or www.lighttowercheerleading.org for info in April of 2009 for next years sign ups. Orientation for Light Tower Cheerleading will be held in July; at that time the girls will be fitted for their uniforms and parents will be informed of any other details for the upcoming season.

Divisions:

1st - 3rd Grade Girls    and     4th - 6th Grade Girls

1st - 3rd Grade Girls will cheer for the 3-4th Grade Boys Football Teams

4th - 6th Grade Girls will cheer for the 5-6th Grade Boys Football Teams

Orientation:

LOCATION:   Hales Corners Lutheran Community Center - 12300 W Janesville Ave - Hales Corners

ALL participants must attend one of these orientation dates, so that your daugther can get fitted for her uniform, your sign up information will be verified and the fund raising program will be discussed. Parents will also have time to have their questions answered as well.
