Children’s Ministries would like to invite 2nd  grade students (and 3rd grade students who did not attend last year) and their families to “Building Strong Foundations”; an interactive introduction to the Bible led by Pastor Russ Peterson and Jessica Dixon. Those who attend will receive a FREE “Adventure Bible” and enjoy a look at the Books of the Bible, the authors, how the Bible came to be and how this all fits with our lives. The event takes place on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 from 4-5 p.m. at the Janesville Campus in Fellowship Hall.

Be sure your kids have the greatest summer ever by going to VBS: Where Kids will Explore the Mighty Love of God! Each day your children will be part of fun Bible learning they can see, hear, touch, and even taste! Bible Point Crafts, team-building games, lively Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the VBS activities that help faith grow into real life. Kids will also learn to recognize God Sightings – noticing God in action, right in front of them, every day! Your kids will participate in a hands-on missions project called Operation Kid-to-Kid that involves nearly a million other children across North America. Hales Corner’s Lutheran Church is offering a new Cheerleading Program for girls in 1st – 6th Grade. Upward Cheerleading is a unique program with a new take on the traditional cheerleading program. Upward Cheerleading promotes teamwork, leadership, good spirit, and self-esteem in every child. Upward Cheerleading teaches positive cheers and chants. Upward Cheerleading will focus and reward girls on their positive actions, words and inner spirit.
