thedock5.jpgThe DOCK (The Discovery of Christ's Kingdom) is our Sunday school program.  We invite all children ages 3 (by September 1, 2008) through 5th grade to attend!  The DOCK staff is committed to encouraging children to build a relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching that He is their Lord and Savior and Forever Friend.

At the DOCK children experience:

  • Solid Bible teachings
  • Fun child-targeted approach to learning
  • Caring environment
  • A place to love and be loved, know and be known, serve and be served, celebrate and be celebrated

We strive to make every lesson relevant by asking two questions, “How is this relevant to our culture and the world today?” and “How do we apply this in our every day lives?”

The DOCK meets on Sunday mornings beginning the 3rd week of September and concluding the 3rd week of May. It is offered at 9:05-10:20 a.m.

The DOCK offers a Special Needs classroom, for anyone of any age who has a special need who would like to learn about God's love.  This class meets on Sunday mornings from 10:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m.

There are many opportunities to get involved at The DOCK:

Small Group Leaders (lead a group of 10-14 children through an activity and discuss life-application of the Bible)

Preschool Leaders/Assistants (lead preschool children through a lesson with music, craft, and life-application)

Large Group Leaders/Assistants (lead the lesson portion of The DOCK through dramas, puppets, videos, etc.)

Special Needs Assistants (provide one-on-one assistance to a child with special needs so that they can hear the loving voice of a Savior)

Children's Ministries Counter Attendant (Manage the Children's Ministries Counter before and after the Sunday 9:15 service)
