Small Group Leader Mission Statement:
- Organize, communicate, and document all group activities to promote a healthy Christian community.
Ministry Objectives:
- Provide organization to the respective group.
- Facilitate communication with the appropriate personnel (i.e.; between the small group coaches and the small group).
- Provide thorough documentation.
- Secure and execute a manageable budget (if needed).
- Work with the group to set a regular schedule.
- Lead group to create and maintain appropriate boundaries (if needed).
Ministry Job Duties:
- Assist the leadership team in fulfilling their respective roles.
- Ensure timely communication with group members, group leaders, small group coaches, church staff, and any other interested personnel.
- Contact and remind group members of meeting places and times.
- Be a point person for all relations and communications.
- Maintain a current roster of members.
- Assume responsibility for administrative concerns.
- Assume primary responsibility for agenda.
- Execute or delegate the agenda during meetings (Run the meetings).
