Ministry Job Title: Small Group Leader/Administrator Print E-mail

Small Group Leader Mission Statement:

  • Organize, communicate, and document all group activities to promote a healthy Christian community. 

Ministry Objectives:

  • Provide organization to the respective group.
  • Facilitate communication with the appropriate personnel (i.e.; between the small group coaches and the small group).
  • Provide thorough documentation.
  • Secure and execute a manageable budget (if needed).
  • Work with the group to set a regular schedule.
  • Lead group to create and maintain appropriate boundaries (if needed).

Ministry Job Duties:

  • Assist the leadership team in fulfilling their respective roles.
  • Ensure timely communication with group members, group leaders, small group coaches, church staff, and any other interested personnel.
  • Contact and remind group members of meeting places and times.
  • Be a point person for all relations and communications.
  • Maintain a current roster of members. 
  • Assume responsibility for administrative concerns.
  • Assume primary responsibility for agenda.
  • Execute or delegate the agenda during meetings (Run the meetings).
