The Sonshine Ministry supports the collection and distribution of food goods to needy individuals and the pantries that serve them in the Milwaukee area. The collection of clothing especially for women and children is also part of this effort.
Collection bins are available every day of the week just inside the East and West church entrances of the Janesville Campus.
Four times each year a Fill the Truck event at all weekend services will occur at which worshippers are asked to bring in a grocery bag of non perishables and place it behind their car when they come in to worship. Volunteers with vans and pickups will collect the bags, sort the food and 'fill the truck'. Monday morning more volunteers will deliver the food to our food pantries.
Hunger Task Force's Stockbox program is dedicated to the health of low-income seniors (60 years+), Stockbox provides a full box of supplemental FREE healthy foods every month for each eligible individual. Whether it helps to make ends meet, or is put on the shelf for a later time.

The Lutheran Missions Attic Workshop began in 1957 as part of the Lutheran Mediical Mission Association. The wife of a missionary doctor taught the members of her Bible study group how to make bandages and shipped them to Nigerian clinics. In 1960, the LMMA moved to the attic location at the Grange campus of Hales Corners Lutheran Church.
