Lutheran Missions “ATTIC” Workshop Print E-mail
The Lutheran Missions Attic Workshop began in 1957 as part of the Lutheran Mediical Mission Association. The wife of a missionary doctor taught the members of her Bible study group how to make bandages and shipped them to Nigerian clinics. In 1960, the LMMA moved to the attic location at the Grange campus of Hales Corners Lutheran Church. It was in July 1985 that the official name changed to the Lutheran Missions Attic Workshop.  As of August 2004 the Attic calls Steeple View its home..

Who Are We ?
Christian volunteers sending hospital supplies, medicines, clothing, quilts, school supplies and more to those in need in poorer countries.  From October of 2005 to March of this year we shipped 159 boxes to the mission field, 171 to Int'l Children's Association, and 104 to Orphan Grain Train.

What do we do ?
We collect donations of hospital supplies, medical supplies and medicines from doctors' offices, clinics, hospitals and the LWML.  Our volunteers screen, sort and repackage the donated supplies into shippable cartons.  The cartons are sent all over the world to help fill needs.
