Rev. Bruce and Amy Lesemann serve God in Kingston, Jamaica. Bruce witnesses to the people of Kingston, Portmore and throughout Jamaica about the love of Jesus; trains future leaders in the Lutheran Church in Jamaica through leadership training courses; builds up new Lutheran Christians through confirmation instruction and Christian education and provides social ministry to the needy through feeding programs and a medical clinic in Bath Mountain, western Jamaica.
Bruce born in IL., taught for five years before entering Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. While a student there, he met Amy (IL born also) at the missionary orientation in 1995, and they were married in 1996. In 1997, they took their first call to the Philippines and served there for four years, until it became necessary for them to leave due to terrorist activity on the island where they worked. They received the call to Jamaica early in 2002.
