Fall is here! Leaves are changing color, temperatures are dropping, pumpkins are everywhere, and our calendars are starting to fill up with hay rides, apple orchard visits, and trick-or-treating events. On October 21st from 2-3:30 pm, we will be hosting our first ever Trunk-or-Treat Family Fall Fest here at Hales Corners Lutheran. We are so excited about this event! Open to our Hales Corners Lutheran Church and School families, as well as the surrounding community, this free event will provide a safe, fun place for kids and their families to show off their costumes, get some treats, and enjoy a bunch of other fun activities. We will have bounce houses, games, a petting zoo, food trucks, and vehicles full of goodies for kids to go trunk-or-treating. Click here for a link to our Facebook event, and be sure to invite your friends, this event is a great way to let others know about our church and school!
We are also looking for individuals, families, or groups to register to host a trunk! All cars, SUVs, and trucks are welcome. Trunks must be decorated (no scary decorations, please), and an adult will need to remain with the trunk at all times to hand out treats to our trunk-or-treaters. Please bring enough treats for 350-400 children. For more information, and to sign up, click here!
