God wants you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. That’s why we offer many opportunities to promote whole-person wellness, including resources for improving your health. Your mental, emotional, and physical well-being is important to us and is critical for energizing the spiritual mission of the church. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, tone up, or just connect with other community members, the Fitness Center at HCL has something for everybody and is a great way to fill your cup.

Memberships for the HCL Fitness Center are open to the community and range from Walking Track Memberships to Fitness Memberships. which include access to the full breadth of our equipment. Our Fitness Center features a variety of cardiovascular machines (elliptical climbers, treadmills, spin bikes) and a wide range of resistance and core training equipment. Community classes are also offered.

If you’re looking for opportunities to feel good and gain more energy while enjoying fellowship with others, then consider signing up for fitness classes put on by the HCL Fitness Center! From full body strength and core to yoga to Jazzercise and senior classes, there’s something for everybody!

Spring Fitness Classes - Spring 2019 Session -April 2 - June 6

Fit4Life: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30-9:30 am. Fit4Life is a senior exercise class that involves 30 minutes of walking (at your own pace), chair strength exercise, as well as muscle and joint flexibility exercises. Suitable for most exercise levels. Cost is $40 for 10 weeks. Located at Steeple View Senior Residence, 12455 W Janesville Road, Muskego.

Christian Yoga: Thursdays, 7:00-8:00 pm, Hales Corners Lutheran Church, rm 1011. Taught by Robin Monson-Dupuis, a certified yoga instructor. Open to all levels. Yoga is a fun way to elongate the muscles, giving you a leaner, more flexible and stronger body. It also quiets the nervous system and calms the mind. Cost is $10 cash/drop-in, or $45/5 weeks, $75/10 weeks punch card. Punch cards can be purchased at the first class.

Strength and Core Fusion: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-6:45 pm, Hales Corners Lutheran Church, rm 1011. A semi-cardio paced toning program that includes balance, coordination and core exercises. This full-body workout is not only fun, but is done in 45 minutes. Equipment is provided, so all you need is an exercise mat and a water bottle. Choose to come one or two times per week for 10 weeks. Cost is $72 (one class/week); or $96/ (two classes/week).
