Hales Corners Lutheran Foundation
Purpose
The Hales Corners Lutheran Foundation supports the mission and ministry of Hales Corners Lutheran Church and School today and into the future by:
Encouraging and building relationships with God’s people
Linking people with resources regarding biblical generosity and estate planning
Connecting charitable passions with the ministry of the Church and School
Inspiring disciplined stewardship of the abundant gifts God has entrusted us to advance Hales Corners Lutheran ministries
What We do

The investment income from this endowment is used to advance the mission and ministry of Hales Corners Lutheran Church and School, specifically in the areas of mission outreach, life enrichment programs, music and the arts, and education.
Previous projects and programs supported by the Foundation include:

Ways to Give
You can be generous in many ways. You can give of your time and talents to causes that matter to you, or you can give financially in ways such as:
Comes from the heart and does not require much preparation.
Includes donations made on a regular basis to support the ongoing operational needs of Hales Corners Lutheran.
Involves the more significant financial gifts made from substantial asset resources.
Each gift is an act of worship. If you are moved to make a gift, the Foundation counts it a great joy to partner with you in growing God’s Kingdom.
Giving Forever
The HCL Foundation offers both endowed and non-endowed fund accounts. An endowed gift signifies that the principal remains intact in perpetuity, and the earnings from the gift continues to support the congregation now and well into the future.
Working with the Foundation allows individuals or companies to be creative with gifts that last more than a lifetime. Benefits of legacy giving include:
Making a significant impact on the future of HCL and other causes that matter to you
Passing your values and giving traditions on to your children or grandchildren
Giving more than your current income allows
Utilizing significant tax and/or income benefits resulting from planned charitable giving
Some of the advantages to donors may include:
Receive immediate charitable income tax deductions
Bypass capital gains on the growth of securities, real estate, etc.
Lifetime income to the donor, a portion of which may be tax exempt, and/or to members of the donor’s family
Retaining control over assets while living
Reduction of estate and gift taxes
Tax-free diversification of assets for increased income
