Music Ministries

Music is such a powerful part of worship! It can inspire people and help make worship a more meaningful and moving experience. Through our Music Ministry at HCL, you can lend your vocal and instrumental talents to lifting up God's Word and inspiring those in worship! If you play an instrument or sing, we want to invite you to get involved and offer your talents to one or more of HCL’s music groups—scroll down to see the many music opportunities we have available!

Music Ministry Opportunities

Vocal

  • Celebration Singers: Small group of auditioned singers. Sings for worship and special events.

  • Festival Choir: Large seasonal choir performing Christmas, Easter, and Patriotic works with orchestra.

  • Praise Team:  (Vocalists & Instrumentalists) Plays/sings at all weekend services once per month. Minimum commitment is two weekends per month.

  • Soloist Ministry: Sing solos and duets for select worship services. Call for an audition.

Instrumental

  • Brass Ensemble: Adults and high school students who play brass instruments. Plays monthly during worship. Practices the first Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm, September - May.

  • Praise Band: Plays with the Praise Team and for other worship services.




Worship Media Ministry Opportunities

Assist with worship presentations, operate the projection equipment or live feed video during worship, record special productions, provide sound for worship and special events as well as media slides.
